Compensation Analysis

During an audit you are required to provide the OFCCP with compensation information for all of your employees. The OFCCP statistically analyzes your pay practices by comparing males vs. females and minorities vs. non-minorities.

Several factors are involved in this analysis, the results of which could involve back pay and make whole relief. Career Resources. can provide a Compensation Analysis which is extremely important since enforcement of male/female differentials comes straight from the White House; all of our clients are being informed of the seriousness of this review.

We can provide a wide variety of statistical tests analyzing your pay practices. Should compensation discrepancies exist, they must be identified and corrected before an audit. Back-pay and make whole relief can get very expensive should the DOL direct the company to fix the problem.

This topic is more in focus these days as equal pay for equal work takes the spotlight at the US Department of Labor. Waiting until an audit is called can be costly. We will help you to avoid risk by analyzing your compensation data using the OFCCP's recommended approach.

Impact Ratio Analysis

The Impact Ratio Analysis (IRA) has become a focal point in OFCCP audits over the past years. An analysis is conducted on the employment practices of contractors: Applicants vs. Offers, Promotions, Transfers and Terminations.

The purpose of the analysis is to determine if "adverse impact" exists in your selection procedures Career Resources can perform these analyses, assisting in identifying potential problem areas and helping you implement programs to ensure that your selection processes are objective and defendable. We can work with your management teams, bringing home the importance of their role in the selection processes and their accountability during an OFCCP audit.
